Paula Vincent Johnson has been a Louisiana civil law notary for twenty-five years. Since establishing her practice in 2004, Paula has helped individuals, couples, family caregivers and business owners overcome the challenges of communicating with others on behalf of their loved ones during difficult times.
Unlike other notaries, Paula focuses solely on helping you plan for the future, which means she can exceed your expectations with more time, more answers, and more information.
If you want the ability to easily handle the challenges that can arise in financial, healthcare, and end-of-life situations, then it is important that you create your powers of attorney and will before it's too late. Get started today.
In August, 2004, Paula began her notarial practice in The Plaza Mall on Read Boulevard in New Orleans East. In 2005, just a couple of weeks after celebrating her first year in business, disaster struck and disrupted our lives. In the summer of 2006, by the grace of God, Paula was able to re-establish her business in its current location at 9954 Lake Forest Boulevard. At first, Notary In The East was the only full-time business open in her area. Most of the time, there was no one else around. But slowly, word began to spread. And now, for more than a decade, Paula has been blessed with many opportunities to serve you – New Orleans East, Gentilly, The Ninth Ward, St. Bernard, Lakeview, Mid-City, Downtown, Uptown, the Westbank and beyond.

Your initial visit will be conducted via video conferencing so that you can stay in the safety and comfort of your own home. And, there is no need to download any special software. Sign Your Documents
Of course, since you are executing important legal documents, the signing must be done in person in my office. Masks are mandatory, and we will practice social distancing. The office is closed to walk-in service, so no one else will be around except the people signing the documents.
Telephone consultations are held specifically to discuss
powers of attorney, wills, small successions and real estate transfers.
In order to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all other services
are on hold; the lobby is closed and mobile services are
not available at this time.
Fees are subject to change without notice.
